• As of January 16, 2010 we are recommending that pike fish not be removed from the lake until a further study can be complete.

• The use of private Winans Lake is for the members of Lakelands Golf and Country Club only. It is not open to the public for any use or purpose.

• No motorized equipment of any kind is allowed on the lake.

• No spearing shall take place in Winans Lake at anytime

• No frogs or turtles may be taken from Winans Lake at anytime

• Members using the lake for ice fishing mush obtain an identification flag from the club office.

• Members may authorize guest fishing.  Guest must obtain flag from the member and have a guest pass.

• Members are not permitted to launch their own watercraft unless they own a specified property and the boat is properly decaled.

• Complete rules of the lake are available in the members section of the website.

Fisherman must have registered license with the state of Michigan and must observe all rules & regulations as described by the DNR.
