Many of our positions may provide a full work week, or weekends only, or nights only, etc. We are flexible with scheduling and will staff our teams based upon availability of the best people!

Members cannot be employed by Lakelands Golf & Country Club. Member’s children may work only in areas that do not involve direct contact with members which includes golf course maintenance and in the kitchen.

  • Pantry Chef (Garde Manger) - Kitchen

      Pantry Chef (Garde Manger)

      Seasonal Full Time  |  Hourly

      Responsibilities:
      - Create food items according to recipes and quality standards
      - Assist in menu planning and development for your salads, sandwiches & desserts
      - Supervise work station maintaining product freshness
      - Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
      - Work closely with the Executive Chef and other team members developing ala carte menu items and banquet menu items
      - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
      - Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

      Requirements:
      - Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food industry
      - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management
      - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
      - Knowledge of inventory control procedure
      - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

      Seasonal Full Time  |  Salary

      Responsibilities:
      -Assist in the preparation and design of all food
      -Produce high quality plates both design and taste
      -Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
      -Assist in managing the back of the house encouraging hard work in a kind environment
      -Work with the Front of the House management to ensure a positive, efficient and effective experience for the team and members.
      -Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
      -Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
      -Familiar with industry’s best practices

      Requirements:
      -Culinary Experience: 2 years
      -Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food industry
      - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management
      - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
      - Knowledge of inventory control procedure
      - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
